I am Katrien, born February 27, 1969 in Gent, Belgium.

I have always been quite active and restless, trying to grab as many experiences as possible. This resulted a few years ago in my decision to take a few months off, and see a bit of the world, with main purpose: Diving. Travelling is something I have been doing already for years, and it was always my dream to do this during a longer period.

Beside scuba diving, I also like to do other sports like skiing, squash, cycling, walking/trekking, sailing, climbing.

This time, I am going for another experience: cycling home, starting from the most Northern point of the European continent: "Nordkapp (Norway)". It will take me several weeks. ;-)
